I have heard many people talk about Groupon and the amazing savings they find but in all reality, this momma has been slow to jump onto the bandwagon. But sometimes life sends you gentle pushes, or more extensive jabs, to look into a whole new way of couponing.
I grew up cutting coupons. I look for savings anyway I can. It helps me provide for our small family on our tight budget and still allow for fun indulgences here and there...and horseback riding lessons for darling daughter. And she is growing like a weed and has discovered the wonders of fitness wear. That girl loves a pair of leggings as much as her momma and when we stumble on a sale, we will get some...sometimes.
But I have discovered that I can be more proactive. Before heading out and driving around town, which only takes additional gas (ummm....money when gas is nearly $3/gallon here!) and time (oh so precious time), I can check out the Groupon site and see what may be on sale or has coupons in my neck of the woods. Seriously, you can finetune your search for fitness wear and see what there is. Better yet, finetune your search and see what Nike has on sale....and there are some amazing discounts. I'm talking 20%-50% off on a variety items right now. This really helps when both dear hubby and I run and are costantly replacing running shoes.
If you are like me, sometimes you need reminders to check out things, even when they are good deals. I am happy to tell you that you can follow Groupon on facebook and twitter.
Have you ever used Groupon? Tell us about your experience. Mahalo!
